Culturelinx is a project to visit cross-culture musicians with mobile recording equipment and cameras, to film musical collaborations, jam sessions and interviews. Inspired by previous recordings, layer by layer, an ever expanding CultureLinx collective of artists will create a body of music, videos and lyrics about their experiences, in a mashup celebration of 21st century identity.

Out of all this material we will create a musical documentary that will weave together songs, jam sessions, performances, sound bites, interviews, road-trip landscapes and city sounds from all of the places we visit.

We also have a website that is growing as the project unfolds, showing video and audio clips, maps of the journey so far and even allows for online collaboration in the project, which will expand in the near future and be one of the main purpuses of the web.
